New Neighbor

I'm moving into the neighborhood and wanted to get some ideas on how people like the area. I'd also like to meet new people in the area. Anyone live past ninth (increasing)? How's life? It seems desolate, but I couldn't pass up this deal.

The only thing I saw in the neighborhood was a Mexican bar/restaurant. Is all of the social activity in Park Slope?

Any updates on "how's life in Gowanus 'hood". Other than Bell House and Bar Tano, what else is in the area? Would love any info or advice!

I love new pie place and lowland, if anybody is still paying attention to this topic...:-)

There is also the Gowanus Studio Space. The "Brooklyn Brainery" host some pretty fun classes there.
