Did anyone else notice the strong winds and lightning showing out of nowhere around 9:20pm?

It's hitting my area right now. Poor boy cat has already high-tailed it into the closet :-(

I confess. Thunder and lightning scares the crap out of me. Then I try to calm myself by remember that these houses have been standing for 100 years...they are all the same size and there is no reason lightning will hit MY house....because it's not all about me always (even if it is :-) )

Jeffrey, I was singing the WHOLE song in my head trying to get the reference. After 2 glasses of wine it wasn't so easy :-)

One night about 40 of us rented some giant karaoke room and at around 3am, my friend and I did the whole Bohemian Rhapsody. It was not pretty.

The Japanese staff kept coming in with bus buckets full of cans of Bud (ick) and our bill when we left was ONE THOUSAND FUCKING DOLLARS. Oof, what a night


BTW, I'm fairly sure it's "Thunderbolts and lightning, very, very freightening"....if not, I totally screwed up my big karaoke moment (worse than just my singing screwed it up)

Oh, it was funny. We also did "Love Shack" and some others which will come back to me. One of my work colleagues confessed a big crush on me. I kissed somebody else who I shouldn't have. Good times, good times :-)
