I've been thinking that one of the ways we could help heal the rift in our community would be a kosher Caribbean restaurant. It would have to be mostly vegetarian (fish allowed) but since there is a strong vegetarian strain in Caribbean culture (as witness to all the vegetarian restaurants we have) it should work.

We need to find ways to bring people together and food's one of the best ways to do it.

Any budding restauranteur is free to take my idea and run with it.

You know how many god damn African jews Live in Israel? Try going to Arad or Beer Sheba, what is the big deal about Black jews? Shit there are Chinese Christians, Bhuddist White People, Agnostic Quechuan Peruvian sand hey even Atheist priests!

It would have to be owned by jews otherwise the Hasidics will not patronize it. Outside of extraordinary circumstances, Hasidics will not give money to non-jews unless they have absolutely no other choice.
