Bar Softball League!

Does anyone know when the next Park Slope vs Prospect Heights bar softball game is going to happen? :?:

Not sure, but Captain Marvelous was just asking when Soda was going to get their team together.

How hard would it be to get a Daily Heights team together? Anybody interested? I'm missing my Saturday softball.

So geeks have displaced the jocks at Soda? I know its cool to be nerdy these days but... damn. Whats next, Klingon speaking waitresses, maybe we'll all meet on some forum on the "internet".

D+D is going to be at Freddy's, not Soda. And they are going to pack the house. There is an enormous pent-up need for "adult D+D" in this city.

Ah yes... D+D. I need to dig up my 19th level Beserker from '83. It's been long, too long, since I've so lovingly fondled the 16-sided dice between palm and forefinger.

As for the bar softball, it wasn't a spurn of soda... it was an attempt to keep what is already proving to be unmanageable 2 team league from going out with NHL-style over-expansion.

Maybe an idea for the next Daily Heights get together: a Prospect Heights N (I suppose that's the direction?) -- Park to Atlantic vs. Prospect Heights S -- Park to Eastern Parkway softball game?

... or prospect place vs. everyone else.
