That restaurant White Lilly that opened a few months ago on Grand Ave and Fulton St seems to have bitten the dust very quickly. There is a new name on the glass called Samanthas Southern Cuisine.Anyone know if they are the same owners? That was grand opening with a faster grand closing for White Lilly.

jeez, I live close by and never even knew the name, was it any good? I always go to Kush when I eat close to home and it never even occured to me to try it.

Tried to go there once for brunch, and it was vry odd. No real tables - just a big table which I guess I was supposed to sit family style, and a waffle iron in the corner. Seemed a bit undercapitalized.

Oops - I was talking about another place on Atlantic. Never been to this place.

Subject: White Lilly Restaurant (now Samantha's Southern Cuisine)

This is a family-run restaurant that has seating for approximately 30-35 patrons. I've been there a few times. They have an amazing cook – the food is excellent, very well presented and the prices are reasonable.

    Highly recommended.

Why did they change the name of the restaurant? Always seemed empty to me but their apple cobbler was to die for. That is all I had as I went for a menu and they gave free samples.
