MODHAHA!! See Brooklyn Paper, you don't have to shill on our site. We'll give you due props in good time.
Back on topic: Yeah Cheesesteaks was a greasy gross mess. I think we all saw this coming.
Just a few blocks up Albaz has a kick ass cheesesteak.
So, what would we like in their space? something to go with the sex shop? -

ginsbera113not surprised by this, whether it was because Atlantic Yards not being there with customers or not, their food was just plain terrible. Worst cheesesteak I've had in a long time. -

apresvuI remember when this place went in. The owners were very excited about the coming of the arena.(it was published in some local press, can't remember which) Having recently been a long time resident of the immediate area, this sentiment did not bode well with those of us who would actually be adversely impacted by AY. I walked by regularly and the number of customers was spotty at best. If you're going to take advantage of a perceived financial windfall; do your research on the neighborhood, and oh yeah, make a good product. -

j0518Everyone who thought they were going to get a slice of that arena business are finding themselves SOL.
Went there once, during their first week. Didn't think it was that bad, but never really felt compelled to go back either. Terrible name for a place as well. -

pimaSuch a surprise!
A restaurant, poorly conceived, managed and promoted, closes.
The restaurant business is the hospitality business.
I walked in, waited 5 minutes for someone to address my presence, and then left and never returned.
The surprise is that they were open 18 months.
