    Subject: I can't believe it

I don't watch tv. I do log into nbcnews.com to watch Tim Russert once a week. No one on TV seems to be able to interview like him. He asks real questions and doesn't seem at all to favor democrats or republicans. Ron Paul was no match for him. I just can't get over it. Seemed like a great guy who did his job superbly well. I guess this takes the time I spend with major networks to zero.

This is the most devastating news.

I have been watching Tim Russert almost every Sunday for the past 10 years. He is simply the best interviewer on TV today and if you were paying attention to Politics, you watched Meet the Press. Period.

No one prepared more, asked harder questions - then with a follow up question - than Tim Russert. This is unbeleivably terrible news for all of us. I feel so, so sad about this right now and I can only imagine what his family is going through right now.

People, there is simply no one like him right now and we are at a huge loss. I was looking forward to watching Tim for many years to come and now he is gone forever. We have lost a true American giant today.

    Tim, we'll miss you man.
    Damn.

In a world of talking heads, Tim Russert was a real journalist. He will be sorely missed.

The only real seeker of truth we had - he cut through the bullshit so we didn't have to. The real bummer beside his death? His wife and son we're still in Italy when the found out - so sad. Like a member of family dies.
