Random question re quarter changer...

Does anyone know of a laundromat or anything on Myrtle that has a coin changer? My landlord has provided us with a shared washer/dryer downstairs, but it only runs off quarters. Generally I pick up a roll at the bank, but it's Sunday and I'm faced with an unexpected business trip tomorrow and very few clean clothes to pack. Argh!

Its been a long time since I've had to use a coin operated slot load washer but this is what we used to do:

Punch a small hole in each quarter near the edge and loop about two feet of floss through each.

Place your modified quarters in each slot with the hole towards you, pull on the floss to keep the lines taught and slide the quarters into the machine.

The quarters should still be in the slots when you pull the slide back out and the machine should be activated.

Again, this was ten plus years ago so might not work- but then if your landlord was cheap and bought a coin operated machine from ten years ago...
