Saje closed?

Anyone know what's up with Saje on Franklin and Park? I know they had reduced their hours to nights only but lately they've been completely closed.

I saw a sign on the door that said 'closed for renovations.'

I heard that they are done, haven't paid rent in a while and landlord is evicting.

its about time ....That Pascal is a real BITCH ......sad to say that I heard the food they served was well below standard....and they had a terrible rodent problem....I highly doubt its renovations since the owner is in competent and rude!!

Does anyone know who the landlord is? On premises or off? Thx.

..did you ever see how she used to treat her poor employees? HORRIBLE !
She had problems with Paul and Aaquil who helped her with the place in the first place.
..and to top it all did you hear how she cheated both her partners Arvind and David(the two guys who saved SAJE from closing last year and were helping her out with improving the business) out of the partnership?

i don't know about any of that. All I know is that there used to be a really nice manager called Peter a couple of years ago (?), he was nice and efficient. I went on vacation for a few weeks, when I came back he was gone and the new waitstaff had no idea who i was talking about. It seemed really odd. He was the best thing in that joint (he was cute too!). Most of the waitstaff i met were very inefficient, there seemed to be a high turnover. I had not been there since they turned it into a "night" place... I am sorry to see it go though. It had a lot of potential, but it never quite clicked. Judging by the success of both Chavella's and Franklin Park, it seems to me that people will support the local venues if they feel they are good....Saje never cut it I guess.

Not Only Did she cheat the guys who gave her $10,000 each but she also cheated on her husband and children's father with that Shakespeare guy....NO he is not her husband jus her baby daddy....She only thinks about her self ....well she has to since she is supporting 2 households..both men babysit her children yet she shows no respect or apprecitaion for the people that tried helping her.....Well the PR got many free meals while Pascual spoke to poorly of her....The poor girl really tried to make Saje work, but the place needed proper and real management!!!!

so now that it's gone and the space is closed up-- any idea what's going in there?

what a tragedy saje was... each time we were there was so much worse than the one before, up to the point of waiting 45 minutes for a panini when we were the only folks in there on a tuesday afternoon. really would have liked to have seen it succeed but,damn... the place seemed to be horribly run.

Pascale was a strong and nice person who worked two jobs and fought till the end to save her restaurant .While pregnant she worked hard and it s sad to see pleople writting all sort of lies about this good woman . Shame on you

as one of the people cheated by pascale during the construction of saje, i can say for a fact that everything said previously was absolutely true. iam a witness to all of it!!!! these are not lies...get your facts straight before you cast shame@ dolcefiore

This place has been closed for over three years. Isn't it time to let this drop?
