Interesting. They liked Lenny's, which I agree with. I like Joe's on 5th more than he did (although his review wasn't TOO bad) and the pizza on PPW is awful (Enzo's is ok, but as is whole pie only, not reviewed here).

We agree on some of the clunkers - like Princess Pizza, which is awful

Finally someone is making good use of the Internet!!!

I agree about Roma's slimy pizza. I had to mop the grease off of it with a napkin.

It's good. Old school. Not fancy at all

I'm a Princess defender because they deliver quickly, they are always very nice and I ask for it "well done" and it comes super crisp. The sauce doesn't seem sweet to me, but I'm not known for my taste.

Also, I never thought that food was Sabella's main line of business...I used to get a slice or a roll there and it seemed like they were confused that I wanted to purchase food there.

I'd love for somebody to take over Sabella's (or even Joe's on PPW) and make a good slice joint out of it. Sabella's never has ice or lids for their fountain soda and I eat there about once every 2 years in a pizza emergency. I regret it every time

Lenny's lost their touch every since Mike got sick and they basically hired a whole new staff. you gotta try peppe's on 4th ave and 17th st.

i had been a loyal lenny's customer, bu haven't eaten there in months. peppe's is much much better.

I find it interesting that for better or worse, they left off "Pizza Plus", which is a staple for the South Slope.

Anyone notice there's a new pizza joint in the old D'Mando's/Gusto D'Italia space on 4th Ave.? That's like three slice places in eighteen months, same storefront.

I wondered about that too. Maybe they don't sell by the slice? I've only walked by there; I've never ordered nor gone in. Is it worth my while?

Pizza Plus does slices during the day but pies only at night. The folks running it are nice but the pizza is quite ordinary.

I guess Anthony's wasnt included b/c its more of a restaurant than a pizzeria?

He only did places that sell by the slice, which Anthony's doesn't do

I agree with much he has written, but have not ate at all of the places he hit.

Lenny's has been downhill for awhile. I'm a Peppe's fan as well.

I happen to be a big fan of Roma. Their grandma pizza is delicious, as is their margherita.
