Hello, neighbors -

I caught the thread re: deliver to Bed-Stuy, but that was specific to the west side. I'm over on Stuyvesant & Putnam and I tried to call a few of the suggested restaurants (Amin, Myrtle Thai, Bergen Bagels) and they won't deliver to this part of Bed-Stuy.

I wanted to compile a list of tasty options, and I'll start!

Sushi Tatsu II (718-398-8828)
Decent sushi, pretty quick delivery. Friendly.

Papa John's

Ok! That's all I've got so far...anyone else? Please share!

Aw....poor baby can't get any delivery :(
I would strongly recommend relocating to Park Slope or Brooklyn Heights and you won't have this problem any more.

don't turn this into a gentrification fight. if you have restaurants to share, list 'em. otherwise take it to a different thread.

I've been here for 3 years and am quite happy. I am simply sourcing my neighbors for delivery options I might not have found already.

Moving is not a practical suggestion, but thanks anyway!

How do you like southern Stuyvesant ave? are you by the Utica C stop?

I live on northern Stuyvesant and it isn't really for me. I was told by Fulton it is really beautiful and safe -- thoughts?

Sapolo Spanish & Chinese Resturante located at 501 Myrtle Ave. # 718- 789-7788 will deliver for a $30.00 order. Sapolo specialty is " Pollo A La Brassa". They make the best rostissere chicken, fresh saute string beans and fresh saute broccoli served with brown, yellow or white rice. Ask for the fresh garlic in oil. I love their chicken and their saute vegetables. I am not a fan of their chinese food. There are chinese resturantes that deliver to the area. I have not found one to arouse and satisfy my taste buds.

Golden Pizzeria located at 246 Malcolm X 718-443-2858 makes good Brooklyn pizza. Delivery stops early at 9 pm. For other resturantes check out the Bed-Stuy Listing below.

Halsey Street Grill is a new option for food delivery to "Stuyvesant Heights". The soul food grill and restaurant is located at 260 Halsey Street near the corner of Halsey and Tompkins Ave.

Good tasty soul food. Good food portions. Good prices. Fast delivery services. Delivery stops at 9 pm during the week and 10 pm on the weekend.

There is also the woman who runs the business delivering food to folks in neighborhoods without many delivery options. Don't remember the name of her business, but I do recall that she focused on Bed-Stuy and Crown Heights. You place the order for pick-up, she picks up and brings it to you for a small charge. It was a great way to get food from those places that didn't deliver into the neighborhood.

Anyone remember the name of the business?
