Queer couple looking for studio/1br

Hey folks!
My partner and I have been together for 5 years, and we are trying to move back home...just soo happens Brooklyn's rental market went buckwild in the 4 years we lived in DC...So we have tried the craigslist thing and the voice...but there are tons of scams...Im over it!...So I come to you all and ask:
1: anyone looking to rent a room?
2: anyone know of anyone needing to get out of a lease?
3: anyone know someone who owns a home and wants to rent out a portion of it?
4: anyone know of any other great places to find an apartment?

I know of a 2 bedroom avail. now for 1300 in a lovely brownstone in Crown Heights near Pacific and Brooklyn Ave. with no fee. The other residents in the bldg. are all queer or gay identified.

would you consider a co-op
