Where do you rent videos?

There use to be like 5 video stores in Windsor Terrace. Then for a while Universal was the only one. Now there’s none. So I’m just curious where people rent from now? I know some people go to Blockbuster, but I don’t feel like walking all the way there. And if you want anything other than new releases they have a terrible selection. So has everyone gone with Netflix or downloading?

we use Time Warner video on demand and Netflix. Netflix is $5 month for 2 videos per month. You return 1 and get the next one in 3 days

Reel Life South is great, especially for "real" film buffs.

Otherwise, I usually wind up trekking to Video Gallery on 7th Ave, between 8th & 9th.

I’ve gone to Reel Life South a few times and they’ve got a pretty good selection there. thanks.

another question is where do you go now for making photo copies? That’s also something I always use to take care of at Universal video.

It is nice to be able to rent videos free at the library. but at the windsor terrace branch they don’t have a good selection. and the Grand army plaza branch is quite a walk just to rent a movie. especially when you don't know exactly what you want to see.

well I’d often to go the video store without anything specific in mind I wanted to see, and then I’d just find something on the shelf. but i’ll try your suggestion. I’ll go to the Windsor terrace library and ask if they can get me a movie they don’t have. thanks.

but at universal they had a really good copy machine. It could make both color or black & white copies, and it could copy whole piles of paper at a time, piles that were double sided or single sided. and probably had about 100 more features like that… I’m guessing the copy machine at the library is black & white only, and can only do one page at a time.
