Okay, wtf is going on? Between this, the police dude who dumped the paralyzed guy out of his wheelchair onto the floor, the pedestrians who prety much ignored the the guy that got hit by the car in broad daylight in CT, and the other police dude who bady slammed that woman - what in the world is going on?

I know that people don't like to deal with problems - including problem people, but somebody should have had the where-with-all to check on this woman or have someone check on her. She supposedly sat there inthat emergency room for 24 hours! It can't be easy working in the psyche ward. I mean, it really can't be easy. It still seems that someone would have checked on that woman. Was she a regular there? Did she often lay out in the floor like that? What could have caused the guards, and the doctor to blow her off like that?

    Um I beg to differ.
My mom, a mexican, went into the emergency room in an LA hospital and received horrific service. Thing is, she looks white, she's spanish blood... doesn't matter what color you are, emergency rooms in high impact hospitals suffer from incidents like this. Things are fucked up all over the place and to everyone.

    C'est la vie

Exactly. My old roommate wasn't just white, she was also blond and young (and with a fantastic rack to boot) and she had HORRIBLE service in an ER a couple years ago, lying on a gurney in pain while the nurses stood around talking about what they were going to do with their weekend plans.
