Computer Problems - where can I go?

I need someone to help me with a computer problem. It may involve data recovery. Please advise.

there's a guy on Sterling just East of washington. He has a little shop there; unfortunately I don't recall the name. I know he does computer repairs; not sure about data recovery.

There is a guy on Vanderbilt between St Marks and Bergen (I think).

If you have a Mac -- and they are simply wonderful computers -- you can get it repaird/diagnosed either at Tekserve or at the "Genius Bar" at the Apple store in SOHO (they are now open till midnight!).

No Mac. PC. NTFS.

you ever sort this out?

I just e-mailed you about this hours ago. I think I know how to fix it. Is it possible to hook up two NTFS drives to a Linux box, and transfer files between the two drives?

The files are there and viable - I just can't get XP to recognize the drive. However, when I go into Recovery Console, they are there, clear as day, but in Recovery Console you can only copy ONE FILE AT A TIME (how stupid is that)...
