Boerum Hill Community Gardens, Green With Envy Tour, July 12

The first Green With Envy Tour of Brooklyn community gardens featured a few in Boerum Hill this past Saturday. I'm posting photos and brief writeups on my blog, Flatbush Gardener, at http://flatbushgardener.blogspot.com/.

Wow thanks for the great pictures. Brings back so many memories for me. The garden on the corner of Wyckoff and Bond was where I grew up and I remember spending a few weekends cleaning that lot out so it could be used as a garden. Im so glad it is still thriving (and still a garden!).

The Hoyt and Atlantic garden had a great mug they used to sell at street fairs and it said "Straight from the Brooklyn Muggers".
