Hey, I have a hankering for some mini golf. Are there any decent places in NYC?

Coney Island....not sure if it's decent, but it's there

I know there used to be mini golf at Pier 25...and a mini golf course was a planned part of the construction, but I can't find whether the renovation has been completed yet.

I'm a big fan of the mini-golf myself. Unfortunately, I think the course in Coney Island got plowed for something stupid - a slide, maybe? There was also a course at Nellie Bly that was about as decrepit and piss-smelling as the rest of the place, but that's gone too. You may need to head to Staten Island :(

Sounds like I'm pretty much out of luck. I'd rather visit my college buddies out on Long Island if anything. Thanks for all the advice though. I guess it's not too late to make it up to Cape Cod this summer.

South of Atlantic City all the way down to Cape May. Some absurd layouts. mini golf comes in fashion once in a while in NYC. I remember a few indoor courses in lower Manhattan, There was one on Great Jones several years back. In the 1930's people had roof top courses. Groucho Marx had a famous one, lots of parties and what not.

Forget mini golf, go to the Pitch and Putt at Riis Park. It's a 3 Par course and costs $11. You can even rent clubs (you need at least two) for $5. Loads of fun.

Also pitch n putt in Flushing Meadow park (but Riis is closer, unless you're also taking in a Mets game).

Only mini course I know is out in Queens, close to the Nassau border (Douglaston).
