Barbershop

I am in need of a barber in Bed Stuy. I would like to find a place that takes appointments and a place that's clean. I am all about "crisp" shapeups. I also don't want to pay too much for the shapeup...no more than $12-$15.

Does anyone know of a place?

I see a couple places on Nostrand between Fulton and Madison that seem popular.

The ones I KNOW that are popular and good are in Ft. Greene/Clinton Hill.

there is also a popular place on the same block as Not Ray's Pizza on Fulton St. in Ft. Greene that tons of guys go to but the name escapes me right now.

My husband goes to see Trevor at Savvy Styles 88 South Portland Ave Between and Lafayette. 718-797-4949

    They take appointments.

Good shapeups, but they don't take appointments is John's on Marcy between Macon and Halsey.

Warning, its an old-fashioned shop complete with the gospel music and no cursing. So, if you are looking for a "spot" this ain't it.

I'm good with old fashioned, but I hate sitting around all day waiting in a barbershop.

I'm looking for that "Steve Harvey" type shape up.

It seems like I may be trying Trevor @ Savvy Styles!

I can't speak for his hair skills, but I can tell you Trevor is a very nice guy. I often see him on my walk to the C train and say hello or have a quick chat.

Gotcha...thanks for helping me out. I hate not having a regular barber, I'm the weekly type and I just want to find someone that I'm comfortable with that has skills.
