Brighton Beach Questions

Thinking about hitting the beach tomorrow, and I've never been to Brighton Beach. Does anyone know what parking's like down there? I'm not near the Q so I'd either drive or have to ride the bus for an hour or so. Any recommendations on places for Russian food after the beach?

    there's a MUNI lot there--I don't know the street but it is the one with the Ocean Cafe on the corner. As for food--where to start! We love to go to M&I International. They have a huge market downstairs as well as a cafe with rooftop tables upstairs. There are also the place on the boardwalk--Tatiana, Volga, etc.

    Second Tatiana's -- nice big portions.

    The one time (not recently) I tried to find parking at the Coney Island beaches, it was extremely difficult. I had better luck with street parking near the aquarium. There's also a paid lot at the aquarium, but it's fairly pricey.
