I hired him to pick up some stuff from Ikea and it was a super pleasant experience. Highly recommended.

however, i need someone to help move it (not just a curb to curb!)

I also recommend AW. If he can find parking, he'll often help people out wih moving something too. You should talk to him.

Our beloved armchair_warrior is definitely the way to go. I've hired him several times and he's been extremely dependable, friendly and helpful in each case.

ok. i just used armchair AGAIN and paid the extra $20 to have him help with the move and he was FANTASTIC. My bf and he had to move a very heavy and rather large desk out of a 5th floor walkup with very narrow and winding staircases and armchair was king of his domain.

my bf said that if we had to do it ourselves it never would have happened (or we would have ended up throwing the desk down the stairs, smashing it to pieces and calling it a night.)

Armchair had multiple movers' blankets to protect it and a dolly which helped millions.

i say yay to armchair man with a van!
    thank you!
