Flower Theft!

Sometime between midnight and 7AM, some lowlife took four planters full of flowers off our second floor balcony. I want to thank these lowlifes for making my wife cry and feel unsafe in our own home for the first time in the five years she's been here.
We understand from the police officers who took the report that another building on our street was also hit. I guess even trying to improve one's own neighborhood by setting out flowers is subject to creeps.

that's pathetic and disgusting. Sorry to hear it and that it made your wife feel unsafe.

What gets me is that not only did they steal our planters in the middle of the night, but they climbed up to the second story of our building to do it. Well screw it. I hope they're happy. because they stole these, my wife says we're not planting next year and we'll just go for the empty balcony look like the rest of the neighborhood. She doesn't mind people looking at our flowers, but we don't spend hundreds of dollars so some scumbags can steal our hard work.

I was just telling this story to a friend of mine and he suggested crushed glass in the front of the window boxes.
