BYOB Restaurants in Park Slope

The mention of Mee Thai being byob got me thinking that there is a need to compile a list of known BYOB restaurants in the slope.

I tried going to mee thai with a friend saturday evening bringing along our beers but because they were too packed (a group of 12 had made reservations) it was a no go for us.

We were then stranded on 5th looking for a BYOB establishment. After googling some places using our phones, we found out that each of the places listed online was in fact NOT BYOB.

Disheartened, I thought I could turn to the good community on this messageboard here and try to compile a list of verifiable BYOB Restaurants in Park Slope.

Kindly list out the places that fit the bill, thank you!

1) Mee Thai- Thai Food- 180 5th ave.

Scalino is BYOB for now but they are in process of applying for a LL so that won't last for long.

I think apertivo has their license now, but it was also the single worst meal I've had in Park Slope. Worse than the Burger Bar even.

I walked by Apertivo today & saw the BYOB sign still up. Too bad though - I heard it's lame.

Mee Thai is my favorite new place. Is it still BYOB?

"TEN" sushi 7th ave@15th no longer BYOB.

Was there 7/18/2008. They let me drink the beer I brought, as a "last time" since I didn't know. But alas no more.

Not exactly "in" Park Slope, but taqueria de los muertos in Prospect Heights is applying for their license and is BYOB in the meantime. They also have a mean giant burrito and tasty pico! Totally worth the walk/bike ride.
