Hacking Mr. Softee

I've been enjoying a new treat at Mr. Softee that some of you might be interested in.

As shake enthusiasts will undoubtedly know, Mr. Softee offers vanilla, chocolate or strawberry shakes. Many of you may know that the strawberry shakes are actually vanilla shakes with strawberry syrup added. Lately, I've taken to asking for strawberry shakes made with chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla. Or alternatively, this can be ordered as a chocolate shake with strawberry syrup added.

Delicious.

    Mister Softee is one of the very few constants in my life. I've been eating it since I was a little kid in Jackson Heights in the early 60s.
