Do anywhere beside Back to the land, and the Co-op sell a good selection of organic produce? I know there is a some amount at C-town, as well.
I am just looking for more fruit choices really...
any ideas in the slope?

Key Foods on Fifth Avenue has a decent selection of organic stuff and veggie/non-dairy items.

not sure if it's organic or not, but the korean place up on flatbush by crunch and american apparel has a nice selection of fruits and veggies.

i've just recently discovered the little fruit and veggetable place across from key food on 7th. not sure why, but until last week, i had never been in there.

good stuff, but again, not totally sure about the organic part.

Actually, Farmers Market sells very few organic items. The majority of their fruits and vegetables are just locally grown, but not organic

Don't assume that all the produce at the farmer's market is organic. Much of it is not. Some is reaised organic and not certified, some with limited, non petroleum based sprays

Absolutely right about the Farmers Market...I go to the community market on 5th avenue (between 3rd & 4th) - I've asked the guys there if there stuff is organic - it is not. BUT, I know it is locally grown and it is fresh (usually picked the day before). And I'd rather give my money to a local farmer.

Some farms are organic, just not certified as such - the certification is expensive!

C-town on 9th sells horribly overpriced organic veggies that are oddly wrapped in plastic wrap. Everything appears to come in pairs - 2 red peppers wrapped in plastic for $5.00, 2 cucumbers wrapped in plastic for $5.00. A package of cherry tomatoes for $5.00.

    Thanks!
Back to the land is great but sometime I don't feel like walking all the way to it. I was hoping for more options.
