Photos in the Brooklynian pool

What's up with some of the boring photos in the pool? Just take a gander at the top left of this page maybe you'll see the exciting "people talking on the street photo", some "random chick photo", a "white wall photo", or a poorly framed watermelon photo)...I don't care about your friends. Show me interesting shots of Brooklyn.

Looks like they're all from Brooklyn Indie Market. I agree - random people equals a boring Brooklyn photo pool.

...and that god awful girl with the fake eye! hate that photo....

Upload at Flickr use "brookynian" as a tag, right?

You should also join the Brooklynian group and add the photos to the group pool

it seems to cycle through the newest photos that have been added to that pool and tagged. i'll add some newbs when i get home from work, and i'll make they's goodies.

The wolf pictures is pretty cool.

This is good...I've been lax on my picture taking and this will force me to do more.

I'll be sure to post dozens and dozens of pictures of my vacation in Cape Cod!

hee hee -- i like the one of the serious, staring great dane.

It does seem to get stuck on all the recent photos -- there are some great older photos in the pool.

Is there a setting that only shows the last 10 pics? Can we change that?

Anyone else seeing that guy's ass?

You need to use the "brooklynian" tag.
You need to join the "Brooklynian" group.
You need to "Send to group" (Brooklynian) for each pic. This can be done on either the photo page (look above the photo for the button) or on the Batch Organize screen (drag, drop and click on the "send to group" button at the top).

Edit - Em, I looked - you just didn't 'send to group' on your photos.

I tagged the photos with "Brooklynian".

I sent the damn things to the Brooklynian group.

Now , this "join" thing. That I don't think I did. :-k

I did. I remember putting them in the batch thingy and then sending them to the group. The only group I have is Brooklynian , and I clicked on it and it said that they were sent or added to the group pool?? I did that a few days ago. :scratch:

"None of the things you've selected can be added to the group, because they're either already in the group, in too many groups, or they don't follow the rules of this group."

They don't want my pics. /shrug/

Rejection hurts.

I swear to god that ass photo is the only one loading for me today. That and a shot of a bike on the beach.

Now that I look through the Brooklynian pool, I do see some of your pics, and I do recall seeing them cycle through maybe a week or more ago... but there were some pics in your photostream that had the 'brooklynian' tag, but were not in the group pool...

Yeah, selection is really biased towards new photos - more incentive for you to snap some pics today :thumright:

Stupid pictures wouldn't annoy me so much if it didn't pick like the same three photos for days on end. If I only had to see them once, it would be fine. The random selection needs to be _way_ random, uh, -er.
