Body Found in Prospect Park

BROOKLYN (WABC) -- The body of a man, possibly homeless, was discovered inside Prospect Park Wednesday morning.

Police say the victim, in his 40s, was found in the southwest section of the park, near 16th Street.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities were acting on the premise that the man was killed, possibly from blunt trauma to the head.

We were just there this morning, entering at the corner on the circle where the Farmer's Market is and leaving at the exit near 10th Avenue. Nothing out of the ordinary that I saw...

Near 16th Street may mean where 16th crosses PPSW -- near those glass-strewn stairs on one side and the path down to the lake on the other.

This should be in the Windsor Terrace board.

yeah, i was filing my complaint with the police (about the dog attack I mention on another thread) and they got a call about a dead body. There were helicopters circling while they got the call...
I noted this where someone mentioned the mugging on 16th st...i wonder if these are related incidents.

I seriously doubt these are related incidents.

As for what the fuck is going on..well, here in my theory: people are pissed off they can't afford a can of tuna, summer heat makes the mind crazy, the current national political scene only contributes to the disenchantment, out of school kids...

My point is that it isn't that hard to figure out. Someone gets their brains bashed in with a brick and people are shocked?

I've said this so many times on this board... and I know I don't have any credibility.. but look around... I don't mean gawk and wonder.. I mean take a serious look.

I found a dead cat at Church and Argyle and called 311.

I see dead cats in the streets & highways all the time. What usually happens to them when you call 311...sanitation comes or something huh
