How is East Williamsburg?

Hi,
I am moving to New York and I really want to live in Brooklyn, preferably in Williamsburg or Bushwick, partially because I like the scene and partially because the L train goes near my work in Manhattan. Does anyone know about the neighborhood over near Wythe Avenue and Broadway? Is it sketchy? Hasadic?

Well that wouldn't be "East" Williamsburg, rather South Williamsburg. I think it's more than fine there. Some might think it's sketchy (hipsters can be scary in their dress at times) but that's all depending on the individual. There is a large Hasadic population around there but moreso further south of Division.
