Crown Heights, my boyfriend lives on Pacific between New York and Brooklyn. Very quiet, peaceful, not a rowdy block. Lots of boarded up buildings but lots of nice brownstones, too. I don't like the walk from the train late at night especially crossing Atlantic but not everyone is freaked by that. Proximity to Restoration Plaza is a lifesaver.
