pretty cool. I pass it everyday going to the subway and think that in my head....good work to whoever is growing it!

    Does anyone remember that green house truck (truck with a full veg garden growing in it)? Is it still around?

    I remember that truck, guy used to park it righ on the corner of St marks and Vanderbilt.

    It's my favorite garden around. Only in Brooklyn! Also farther up the block on the same side is this incredible plant which has huge leaves that look like big green umbrellas. I wonder what that is.

    not a fan of the corn. Not a fan of that big plant further down that looks like a weed gone rogue. Not of fan of the place with the stuffed animals out in front.

    What a funny street. Well, at least every time I walk past (which is twice a day) I have something to look at and think about. :lol:

    i love the corn and the elephant ear/taro (the other big plant).

    And there's huge purple grass growing in the Sterling Place sidewalk cracks near Blue Marble.

    it's not grass...i think its amaranth, source of an "ancient" grain.
