anyone up and not on a hangover :P?

hehe just wondering. well if you still drunk go back to sleep.

When I first got up at 9am I was TOTALLY hungover -- I had that post-champagne steel-bands-around-the-cranium headache -- but I took some Tylenol and went back to bed until about 1pm and now feel somewhat alive. I need something greasy for full recovery, so I think I may head to El Carniviento.

Does anyone know of anyplace in this part o' Brooklyn where a girl could get a good Southern breakfast? Biscuits and gravy and/or chicken fried steak and eggs, that kind of thing? GRITS? That's totally what I crave right now.

You can get a lot of that stuff at Tom's, but alas, it's Sunday.

my house full of guests got up around noon and we've been to tavern on dean for brunch. it was very good but be warned -- they're a bit slow today as one of their wait staff quit during the brunch shift. I gave my fruit bowl to a starving DHer.

I ended up going to El Gran Castillo de Jagua, which was awesome as always, but I am indeed on the lookout for good Southern food in the area. Any other suggestions?
