Hello,

After a ridiculous apartment search we have finally settled on an apartment in Kensington, at Mcdonald and Albemarle... Does anyone have suggestions for nearby gyms?

Thanks!

A question if you don't mind: why join a health club when Prospect Park is nearby?

In the years I lived in WT/K I often took long walks in the Park and climbed its many hills. Many people would bike or jog along its many paths. It's a great way to work out, breathe in fresh air, and take in some sunshine.

What good things have you heard? The place is ok, but if a machine breaks, don't expect it to ever get fixed. One elliptical was broken when I started going there... by the end of the year, all 3 were out of order, as well as some of the treadmills..

Well, the good things have now been negated by the bad things. The good things basically focused on convenience and price. Again, I profess my love for the Prospect Park Y. Yes, it is two subway stops away, but oh so worth it.

Yeah, the YMCA on 9th st by 6th ave is great. The pool is kind of small, but aside from that I like everything.
