Rape on Brooklyn Avenue???

Has anyone heard of a woman being rape early this morning on
Brooklyn Avenue bet. Dean and Bergen Streets?

No, but that's pretty disturbing for me considering it's one block away from my place. Where did you hear about this?

I heard about it early this morning, but I haven't seen anything publicized. I'm really hoping that it's not true, since I too live around the corner from this location.

It's true. It was on the front cover of the Daily News. They also have the video, though I chose not to watch it. Very sad, but I'm sure they'll catch the guy soon enough.

I don't have the print edition, but I don't see anything on their website about a rape. You might be thinking of the mugging of the 85 year old woman - which is a top story on their site and has a video.

Arches is right. That's a totally different story.

Where did you see that story??? I have friends that live a block away....

It did happen. A neighbor who lives in the building where the rape occurred told me that the rape happened at gun point. The building residents had a meeting or something where they were given more information about the incident. I don't know anything else. It was a very brief conversation.
