STOLEN PLANTS FROM FRONT YARD!!!!

Has anyone else had this problem? I had 4 plants stolen from my yard this season and was simply heartbroken. We have some really beautiful front yard gardens in our neighbourhood and it is such a shame when someone comes along and just goes shopping in your yard. I know that the winter season will be here soon but maybe we can all look out for each other's gardens next year so that this won't happen anymore. I still miss my beautiful Rhoddodendon , 2 very shiny Hostas in matching pots and my Peruvian Daffodils. Also, if anyone knows where they are I would gladly buy them back.

You must be new to Brooklyn. You have to chain up the plants in the front. Both potted plants and shrubs. Little flowers you don't need to worry about.

Hi JAH. I am not new to NY , but I just never thought that people would come right in your front yard and have at it. Everything out there now has been attached with aircraft cable. Live and learn, huh.

Yes indeed...we've had a few of our lovely plants stolen for the first time this year. We've been here since 2001 and this is the first time this has ever happened. They came right up to our front door and pulled them out of our planters. Very sad and pathetic.

Back in the mid 70's while growing up in bed sty, I had my sneakers stolen from the clothesline in my parents backyard.

Thats the reality of the hood round there.
