Just wondering. This morning I rebooted my phone and got a "you have 1 new voicemail" message. Strange, I thought - when did that happen? I called my VM and had NINE messages ranging in time from the past month, all of which I had never heard before and I know for a fact weren't in my voicemail as of 2 days ago.

Also no texts have been sending today for me or my boyfriend or my other friend who are all also on T-Mobile. And my service keeps going from no bars to full bars and from "E" to "G", whatever that means (although I can guess).

TMO making the big switch to 3g or what?

thanks for posting. A friend fleeing the New Orleans hurricane left me a voicemail and multiple texts asking if she could stay with me over the weekend & I just got one of her old voicemails this morning and no texts & I'm sure she thinks I just blew her off. Effing T-mobile. :x

ow, that's just like one of those phone commercials where calls are dropped at the wrong time.

did you manage to get in touch with her? like, on other non-tmobile phone?

Yeah I got one text from her this afternoon that she's just going to stay with a friend in Tennessee now. I feel like such an ass though - I totally wasn't there for her when she was evacuating and in panic mode.

I didn't know that. I'm sure it's related. As of last night i STILL wasn't getting service. I missed 4 more calls but everything seemed ok as of a reboot this morning. I've had it with TMobile - if only it weren't so cheap!

Hrrm. I've had T-Mobile for a few months now and haven't had any problems. Didn't try to make any calls on the day in question, and I don't use my cell phone a lot in general, though.

Over the past few days my phone has been just shutting off randomly. Or, more precisely, I have a Blackberry and the device has been staying on but the mobile network connection has just been shutting off, with all other factors remaining the same [not moving around, not moving phone, etc.] I was going to call T-Mobile tomorrow if it kept up but maybe I will anyway even if that stops, just to vent to them.

fwiw, I've had T-Mobile for 5 or 6 years now and have been pretty happy with their phone service, and their customer service has always been super.

I also have been having T-mobile and agree that their customer service on the phone is really good. They are always nice and hepful. I HATE, HATE Verizon service (especially landline) ---they treat you like shit!

I was having some problem though, while ago, that my phone often got cut off during the call. I called them and they re-started my line (?) and told me to turn off my phone noce in a while. Ever since it has been working all right.

I did a master restore on my phone this morning because I was still having problems as of last night. It seems ok now, although still ridiculously slow. I want to call them and complain, but I feel like it's a waste of time, as I already know the 5 steps they're going to have me do to "troubleshoot". I really just wish they would release better smart phones - the $300+ "Wing" is more useless than my old Razr.

I take it all back. It's out again (no service where I usually have full bars) as of 3:20 today.
