Alternate Side Parking

So, the suspension of alternate side parking in Red Hook went in to effect today. However, someone forgot to let the brilliant minds at the 76th precinct know, and they issued a bunch of parking tickets this morning. Bureuacracy at work, folks! :x

so glad I drove into work then, I was going to leave my car to take advantage of the new regime. ah well. meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Just wondering - how safe would it be to park my car in the Red Hook suspension area and leave it for a week or so? Any tips on better blocks to park on? Thanks!
