Heartattack in Prospect Park

This is more of a big thank you than anything... but thought I would share the scary experience from this morning too. Went out for a ride around the park and noticed a guy kind of tripping while in the middle of a run. I heard this and looked his way... next thing, he fell straight to the ground face first. It all happened fast. As soon as I stopped a whole cycle team stopped, 2 of the guys are EMTs. 2 people called 911, I yelled for the park ranger lady, and another lady stopped, saying she is an EMT too.

Not sure how exactly the guy is doing, but it wasn't so good when he left in the ambulance. I feel horrible for his family - his wife showed up after a short time. The good samaritans gave the guy CPR the entire time till the ambulance showed up. BIG, huge thank you to those people. Thank goodness for them. They were so quick and willing to do whatever it took to get this guy help.

that is great to hear people came to help so quickly. i hope he is doing well and wish him and his family the best.

Wow. Hope he's all right.
