Rental agent suggestions?

My condo purchase is turning into a disastrous horrible situation so it's back to the rental market. I've always had tremendous luck renting direct from owners, but my luck with housing seems to have evaporated in the past few weeks.

My bf and I are looking to move to Ft Greene/Clinton Hill - anyone have a great agent who knows the area and will actually find us properties based on our criteria instead of making us look at a bunch of garbage?


Also, does anyone have any comments re: the worth of the Rent Direct service?
