hidden gem FOUND!

coming back from the gym yesterday i noticed a new sign/shop and dragged my bf with me to come check it out...

behold Urban Alchemist (on 5th st just E of 5th ave)! A suuuuuper cool artist/design collective filled with gorgeous jewelry, housewares (there were these incredibly beautiful hand carved wooden bowls on sale!) and just all around super cool stuff.

the folks behind the counter were equally cool and inviting...

they just moved in a few weeks ago...

go out and support your local (super cool/non chain) store!!!

the stuff is great, i know several of the artists. donna jo brady is a fave.

I missed the nasty posting....but no loss.. I have read and sometimes contributed to those.
