:D Yep it's coming? A cupcake bakery... I am looking for input on flavors and what people would like to see. I would also like to know if you think I am crazy! The location will be in the Stuyvesant Heights area. All opinions are welcome.

    Two words: real buttercream.

Also, peanut butter and chocolate are two great tastes that taste great together.

Sorry, I always bake my own. My mother always said that any housekeeper (male or female) who bought cakes was a lazy good for nothing. I also bake my own bread and make my own pasta. Thank heavens for the Kitchen Aid stand mixer.

Can you put a location in Clinton Hill? Preferably along the Fulton St corridor tween Clinton and Classon? Also passionfruit is awesome.Heavenly crumbs on Franklin bakes delish cupcakes but I am tired of trekking over there

Please come to Stuyvesant Heights. Near any train would be good... either Tompkins or Throop near the C maybe the bodega could move on Decatur lol.... How about Lewis or Stuyvesant near the A/C. Lewis seems to be taking off that is always a good place to open a business.

I like Clinton Hill but, I live in Bed Stuy and we don't have many services. I will be very close to Olivina the wine shop, since I will also offer high end Chocolates. We all love wine, truffles and cakes! We are looking at an April 09 opening Shellyb

My god yes. If you make red velvet cupcakes well (with real cream cheese icing) your success is definite :D. Red velvet is one of those cakes constantly ruined either it's bitter, too dry, or the icing is second rate. In my opinion it hasn't been done well yet.

P.S. I know a lot of people dig "The Cakeman" on Fulton. But personally I think Duncan Hines out the box tastes better than their red velvet cake.
