Gunshots near Brooklyn and Dean at 12:40 AM

I just heard..


pow...pow.pow.pow.pow.pow....pow

Right before that I heard a cop go by, close to us. But the gunshots sounded like maybe a block or two away. Anyone else hear them?

and then saw a bunch of cop cars go by...somewhere near union st?

must have been farther away than i thought

ah well explains why it sounded close then. hope everyone is okay.

I was told by a 71 PO that they got numerous calls for shots fired in the region spanning as far west as Nostrand and Eastern Parkway. The majority of the calls stated the shots were coming from New York from President to Union. The cops didn't find the shell casings or any victims.

Its sounds seperate from the Brooklyn and Dean incident though because its aways from Union and New York.

I heard them and I live closer to Nostrand. I believe they came from Nostrand and Dean. After the shots were fired I heard men yelling outside.
This is the second time in two weeks that I've heard shots being fired. There is ALOT of activity on that corner(by the corner store). At least the police came this time bc when the shots were fired last time I did not see any police.

Yeah they sounded like they were a few blocks away. The shooting pattern was distinct so if my explanation in my original post matches up along with the time, it could be Nostrand and Dean or it was New York and Union.

i live very close to ditmas avenue and thought the gunshots were a couple/few blocks away. unbelievable.

they seemed so constant i couldnt imagine they were aimed at anyone.

I would really be surprised if it was on Dean and Nostrand because there has been a strong police presence there since an 18 year-old gang member was gunned down on the corner about three weeks ago.
