Is anyone going to this show tomorrow? The new album is awesome and it should be a killer show!

Just wanted to see if any other happy neighbors were attending. If so, it would be cool to meet some of you guys, pre-party and maybe split a car to the Masonic Temple. I'm going with my girlfriend so feel free to drop me a line ; )

We live on Classon and St Marks (and if you write me to let me know that I live in Crown Heights and not Prospect Heights, I have a free range, organic egg I'd like to throw at you... also don't give me crap about taking a car to the show, I'll more than likely be utterly mashed and am likely to take the bus going in the opposite direction).

With that said... let's be neighborly and celebrate good music together! : )

I wanted to go, but was out of town and out of internet when tickets went on sale and my folks who were supposed to be on top of this failed, so no tickets, no show :(

    Have fun!

    Subject: Wowowow

Went last night. Aside from the crappy sound in parts of the BMT, two thumbs up.

I haven't been there in a few months, but... I think the Masonic Temple has, quite possibly, the worst sound quality of any venue I've ever been to. I really wanted to go see TVOTR but skipped it on account of where they're playing.

It sucked that The Dirtbombs opened up, it was a let down, they are such an energetic band . I like TV but not as good or raw as the Dirtbobs, it was an ok show. Going to see Dirtbombs at Southpaw tomorrow!

so I shouldnt be bummed on missing Band Of Horses here a few months back. seriously, bad sound can ruin a whole show more than imaginable at times.

I saw Yeasayer and Man Man there this year and also thought the sound was the worst of any venue in the city. It's cool that it's nearby and that it's a quirky alternative venue, but the sound matters. For this I saw not TVOTR.
