Anyone looose a cat?

I came home to a cat sitting by my front door tonight. Gray striped. Looks well cared for but was very skittish and I doubt it lives outside. I'm near 10th St and 6th Ave.

I tried to feed it but it didn't seem hungry. It moved to my neighbor's stoop for awhile and then ran off. Hopefully it finds its way home.

It's "lose." Someone may have let the cat "loose" but they didn't "loose" it.

Jacsprats, please try and take a pic and post on the pets board as well as craigslist.com. I'm sure someone will take in this poor scared kitty

Subject: Yes I've looost a cat!

My tabby cat went missing from Bergen St btw 4th and 5th aves on 10.9.08. I suppose you could call her grey but more of a greyish brown with white chin, paws, tummy and rear knee socks. Shes petite and slim so looks younger than her two years. Shes usually confident and friendly but who knows what a week ion the streets has done to her personality.
I heard reports of her being around Dean st last night so maybe its not my Dusty but i'm very glad you posted ( whatever the spelling! ). The more kind people like you who are keeping an eye out for her the better.

Dawnc you should post a photo here as well as in the Pets section. You can ask the mods to sticky it which keeps it at the top of the page. Just remember to keep updating it - they unsticky them if no news is posted for 2 weeks.

I will keep an eye out for Dusty and hope she makes it home soon.
