shooting in fort greene?

did anyone hear gunshots near ashland place between fulton and dekalb around 10:15 pm?

I heard the shots...didn't sound real close to me, but I'm down by the Navy Yard at the end of Clermont

I heard them - they were pretty loud so I looked out the window to see if I should call 911. There were people just normally walking on Fulton St, so I thought maybe I was crazy. Little did I know it was down by DeKalb. Then about 20 minutes later, there were police cars, ambulances and a bunch of people milling around by the liquor store. One guy seemed quite agitated, saying that his cousin has been shot, but it seemed like he wasn't really sure what had happened. Ambulance drove away, sirens blaring and police set up a 'do not cross' line with that yellow tape they use, blocking the whole street.

A police car was still parked on St. Felix when I left this morning.

I live at Ashland and Fulton and heard the shots out my back window and called 911. Like 6 shots in succession, very loud. Someone called me back at like 1am but I didn't get to the phone in time, maybe it was the dispatcher, maybe the wrong number. Anyway, thanks for the info on this; I've been wondering all day what happened.
