What I will miss most...

now that I have moved to Ditmas park is...The Usual.

But there is a diner named George's (the previous name of The Usual) Diner within walking distance which has put me at ease although there isn't as much hair in the home fries.

George's is a great diner! Years ago, after looking at an apartment in Ditmas, I stopped by there for dinner. Lots of character, and from what I remember, the food was pretty good, too. Have you been to 773 Lounge yet? Now there's a bar overflowing with personality!

Famous Pita a few blocks down is delicious mayhem. Isreali style falafel. Chaos Saturday after sundown! Insanely good pickled stuff. Don't let the cashier scare you. Just go to him first and pay for your plate. They have a system there that they don't readily disclose...
