Wednesday Happy Hours

Does anyone have a particularly good Wednesday happy hour? I'm thinking either Soda or Barrette's. I was supposed to meet a friend at the Subway Inn in Manhattan, but he just cancelled.

Sepia's got pretty decent weekday happy hour beer & occasionally wine specials. 234 Underhill at Lincoln.

Two Sepia-related posts in one day. Apparently I'm now their cheerleader.

So, thanks for the Sepia recommendation. Close to the apartment and comfortable (and a familiar bartender from 7B in my old neighborhood). Still not sure I'll make it my regular bar, but I will definitely drop back in.

Sepia is, by far, the best bar in the neighborhood. Make it your local!

My pleassure. Who's the familiar bartender, James or Nikki? Probably James if it was an East Village bar.

My wife and I were hanging out there briefly yesterday evening... what time were you there? We did, however, leave very early, around 8:15 or so. The whole "have to relieve the babysitter" thing.

    Damn kid.

It was James. I was probably there from 730-8p or so. Had to run home for dinner at that point. I'll definitely be back, probably as soon as this weekend. I live right across GAP on Plaza St W., so it's just a short walk away.

I have absolutely been to Sepia on a weekend (probably Saturday) and gotten happy hour price. My memory is very clear on this, because I remember being exceptionally delighted to find a bar so close by with this feature....all of you who make it back to PH before 8pm on weekdays, I hate you. Anyway, the last time I was there on the weekend, the male bartender (had never seen him before) looked at me like I had 3 heads when I asked when they stopped weekend happy hour, and said it had never existed. Confusing.
