Radiator Covers?
danny-o
My son got his first radiator burn today, so it's time for me to get off my butt and get ahold of some radiator covers (the wood box with a metal screen type). Any recommendations on who does a good job making/installing these?
Thanks!
Thanks!

emilyWe have some nice, cheap bookcases from the Cabinet Shop on 7th Ave. in Park Slope, and that guy makes radiator covers as well. You'd have to paint it yourself, probably, but that's not much of a job. -

calm headI got mine at Doody Hardware store. Decent price, many styles and colors. They are on Ave Y and E 17 st. They also have another store in Staten Island on Victory I think. -

This was like four years ago so I'm a little foggy on the exact figure, but my recollection is that they were quite cheap (especially considering they're solid hardwood--beech I think). I probably posted about it here a long time ago.
