Patchwork Lady is back

About a month ago, I noticed that the homeless lady who hangs out on the Newkirk stop plaza had disappeared, leaving only a mess of belongings on the street. I presumed her dead or hospitalized.

This weekend, I noticed she's come back, which is cool because the area didn't feel right with her absence.

She's pretty cool shit. If you've never noticed her, stop and take a peek. Nearly everything she wears is hand-sewn patchwork. It's pretty much what she does all day long. methinks she's a bit batshit in the attic as well.

Anyone know what her deal is?

I'll have to try and snap a photo of her getup. She rules.

Yeah, moved out of the building. No more Mrs. Williams. Bought a place in Ditmas Park.
