anyone know anywhere in the hood to get some moving boxes? does the hardware store on washington sell moving boxes? thanks.

    We just moved (out of PH actually) and have a bunch of boxes that would probably just be thrown out. There are about 12 books boxes and several larger ones. You'll have to drive out to Sunset Park to get them, though. PM me if you're interested.

    You might also check out Brooklyn Freecycle. We've gotten -- and gotten rid of -- lots of moving boxes this way.

    I'd say definitely don't go to the hardware store on Washington unless you're interested in paying $9786 dollars for four boxes.

    Come to Butler Place on trash night. There are almost ALWAYS boxes bundled up for recycling.

    Also, check Freecycle.org. There are often moving box giveaways.
