New Moms Group

My husband, 7 month old daughter and I just moved to Ocean Pkwy (so technically between Kensington and Ditmas, I guess) from Park Slope and I would love to join a group of new moms with babies around the same age. Are any of you guys in one or know of resources? Thanks!

Why did you leave park slope? Its a perfect place for your daughter to grow up. Lots of kids for her to play with and the park is right there. Not to mention the great schools.

Lots of retired people live on ocean pkwy. Im sure you have noticed that the building you live in has lots of old ppl.

Flux, we left because we do not have the money to stay in Park Slope. My husband is a journalist and I'm a teacher on leave, so we couldn't afford even a 1br in the Slope.

It's a great neighborhood, that's true, but I'm loving our new neighborhood. It's diverse and friendly and so much less expensive!

Hey Megan, I'm not sure if our building has openings, but it's really nice. We found this apt through Le Chaim Realty in Bay Ridge.

Thanks for the welcome! I love the neighborhood and can tell you right now that it's not just people of a certain age who live here!

And, no, we hadn't noticed the old people. I thought they were just normal people but realllllllly slow.
