got a ladder?

I've had 9 gallons of paint sitting in my living room for the last year and it's high time I got off my ass and painted my apartment. It's pretty damn ugly. Anyway, I've put it off due to laziness as well as the fact that I don't own a ladder, can't see buying one and would have no place to store it if I did buy one. SO - does anyone have a ladder they'd like to lend me? I promise to treat it as if it were my own and keep it nice and clean and stuff. I can pick it up and bring it back when I'm done - but I'd prefer not to have to drive to Williamsburg or the like to get it. Pretty please? If, however, you love to paint and simply can't get enough of it, you're welcome to come over and do that, too. I'm a giver.
